Ronald H. Rice, President of Checkmate Forensic Services, Inc., Performs Professional Study and Examination of Questioned
Handwriting/Hand Printing and/or Computer Generated Documents Against Known Exemplars for Comparison (Authentication) Purposes.
The Professional Service Fees are:
Standard hourly rate: $185.00
Standard retainer in MA: $1500.00
Standard retainer outside MA: $2500.00 in addition to $1000.00 a day travel time to locus, deposition, file review, pretrial
meetings, court appearance, court testimony and one day return travel time.
Air and surface travel expenses, hotel accommodations and other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses are additional.
Depositions in MA: $250.00 per hour, 4 hour minimum, $1500.00 payable prior to deposition.
Stand-by: 4 hour minimum @ $100.00 per hour = $400.00
Telephone consultation: $185.00 per hour
Preliminary Affidavit: $500.00
Standard Affidavit: $800.00
